Evergreen Fires was founded in July 2022 by Johan Liebenberg, a fireplace installer with more than 11 years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for his craft. Through years in the industry, Johan noticed that while technical skill was essential, the personal connection between installer and client was often overlooked. Determined to change that, he set out to build a company grounded in trust, care, and genuine relationships — bringing warmth not only into homes, but into every interaction.
To ensure this standard is upheld, all Evergreen Fires installation teams are personally trained by Johan, guaranteeing consistent workmanship, attention to detail, and service of the highest quality. Towards the end of 2025, Johan’s brother, Phillip, joined the business, bringing with him a natural charisma and strong business management expertise that further strengthened the company’s client-focused approach. As a family-run business, we understand the importance of home and believe wholeheartedly in putting family first in everything we do.
